They mentioned that the hiring manager would reach out the next day with a verbal offer. However, as of Thursday, I hadn't heard anything, so I decided to follow up with the recruiter. He explained that the HR person responsible for approving the offer was traveling, which caused a delay. Now, it's the weekend, and I'm still waiting for any updates. I'm trying to stay positive and remind myself that it's likely just a delay, but it's definitely nerve-wracking not having a formal offer yet.
