After 15 years in the industry, I thought my experience would make things easier, but it's been quite the challenge. Recently, I've noticed that I often hear back about two months after submitting applications. When I finally get an interview, it seems like companies are already deep into the process with other candidates, which is frustrating. Sometimes I make it through a couple of rounds, but then I get hit with radio silence. It's definitely a strange and disheartening experience. Are people finding success through direct applications, leveraging referrals, working with recruiters, or directly contacting hiring managers?
