I'm currently feeling anxious about my job due to recent company restructuring. My company has changed directors, and I've been hearing from my manager that the new director isn't fond of our division, which has led to several layoffs in the past. Every major meeting brings warnings about potential layoffs, and while nothing has happened yet, the uncertainty is really weighing on me. I have a financial goal to reach in about 5 months: my house construction will be finished, and I'll have enough emergency savings to feel more secure. Until then, I just need to keep my job and not let this anxiety affect my performance. I'm reaching out to see if anyone has been in a similar situation and how you managed to cope with the anxiety of "what if" scenarios while focusing on your work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
