I recently found myself in a precarious situation at ServiceNow. I've been a contractor here for less than six months, and while I wasn't part of the layoff call, my entire team was let go. This has left me feeling uncertain about my future. Since I'm the newest member, I can't imagine they would keep me around to fill the gap left by my team. I'm wondering if they will simply cut my contract or if there’s a chance I could be reassigned to another team. Given that there's a consolation period, I know I won't feel the impact of this for about a month, but the waiting is nerve-wracking. I've never been laid off before, so I'm curious to hear how others in similar positions have navigated this kind of situation.
