After being laid off for six years, I decided to apply for a job just to see what would happen. To my surprise, I got the position on my very first try! I'm 51 years old and honestly, I approached this with an IDGAF attitude, which made the whole process feel less stressful. It's absolutely hilarious to me that I landed a job so quickly after such a long break. I'm excited to see where this new opportunity takes me!
