I recently experienced a tough setback after being let go from my job on the very first day. The feedback I received was that I was too "timid," but I believe I was just reserved because it was my first day on the job. The agency, Robert Half, communicated this to me, and now I’m left feeling confused and frustrated. On top of that, I’m under a lot of pressure to find a new job quickly since I need to support my mom, who is undergoing treatment for an enlarged heart. The stress is overwhelming, and I’ve been struggling with dark thoughts as I try to navigate this difficult time. I know I need to reach out for support, whether it's through therapy or talking to a friend. I just want to find a way to cope and move forward.
