I received a notice this morning that my previous employer has filed an appeal regarding my unemployment compensation claim, which was denied back in August. It feels confusing because I am currently working full time, so I don't understand why they would appeal a decision that was already made. The notice I received is titled 'Acknowledgement of UC appeal to referee.' I'm trying to figure out what they are appealing since the claim was denied in the first place.
