Today, I learned that Canva has laid off 1,271 employees. This news came as a shock, especially since Melanie Perkins, the CEO, announced a plan to support those affected with a six-month pay package and $10,000 grants. It's a challenging time for many of my former colleagues and me as we navigate this unexpected transition. I'm currently assessing my options and considering what my next steps will be in this job market.
