Now, I'm regretting that I didn't include a more personal message in my email—just my resume was attached. I'm considering whether I should call the shop to inquire about my application status or if that might annoy them. I'm not sure what I would even say if I did call. I've read mixed opinions on this; some say it's better to drop by in person and show interest, while others warn that calls can be unwelcome.
