    Feeling Planning Thinking

    I interviewed with a company almost three months ago and finally heard back from them today. I received an email asking if I'm still interested in the position we discussed a couple of months ago. I'm feeling a mix of hope and anxiety about this response. I’m wondering if this indicates they liked me but the hiring process was delayed for some reason, like someone else declining an offer or a new opening for the same role. I’m planning to respond and see where this leads.

    I received an interview offer for a job I applied for on Indeed, but the listing has since expired. I submitted my application about a month ago and was surprised to still get this offer. I’m wondering if this is a common occurrence. I’ve seen comments suggesting that it happens frequently due to reposts or recruiters forgetting to close listings. Given the current job market's slow pace, I’m considering responding to the interview offer despite the listing status.
