I recently applied for a position at a company and went through two interviews over a few months, only to be informed that they chose other candidates. Just three days later, a project manager reached out to me, stating that my resume matched her team's needs. I was excited and replied within two minutes, expressing my interest. However, since then, I haven't received any response. I'm usually proactive about following up, but I'm torn between checking in today or waiting until tomorrow. I can't help but wonder if HR might have advised against my application, which makes me anxious about the situation. It's frustrating dealing with the uncertainties of the job search.
