I recently accepted a consulting job in the US and I'm currently going through the background check process with HireRight. Unfortunately, my background check has been stuck at 92% for the past two weeks. I reached out to them and was informed that the delay is due to the Motor Vehicle Record Check, which is the final step in the process. I've never had any issues with my driving record, so I'm puzzled as to why it's taking so long. Every time I call, they just tell me to wait another 48 hours. This situation is frustrating because I can't quit my current job until the background check is cleared. I'm looking for any advice on how to expedite this process, as my patience is wearing thin with HireRight.
