I'm currently working as a host at a restaurant, earning $13 an hour, but the job has become increasingly stressful due to my rude coworkers. I have a 25-30 minute commute, and since I cross a state border, my pay feels even lower compared to the minimum wage back home. I'm struggling to decide whether to keep looking for a better job in my small town or just stick with this position, despite the challenges. I want to find a balance between being grateful for having a job and seeking something that won't drain my energy.
