Busilysnoozed's journey

I was laid off from my position on the customer support team at a US Bank during a Google Meet call. It was a shocking experience; I was working from home and on a shift that started at 6:30 PM. At around 9:30 PM, we received an invitation for a meeting, and within just five minutes, we were informed that the entire Indian customer service team, consisting of 80 employees, had been let go. It’s disheartening to think that so many families are affected by such a sudden decision. I’ve always worked hard at my job, and now I’m left feeling regretful about my dedication to a corporate environment that can discard us so easily. I’m also anxious about my job search moving forward and unsure of how to navigate this situation.
