I just found out that the store I was hired at about a month ago is permanently closing in three weeks. My manager informed me that this decision was made a while ago, and I'm really confused as to why they would hire me knowing the location might shut down soon. This was my first job, and now I'm feeling lost and unsure of what to do next. I'm considering asking if there are other locations I could transfer to, but I'm not sure if that's even an option. It's a tough situation and I feel like I've been thrown into the deep end.
