I recently returned to Bangalore, India after completing my Master's in Information Technology in the US, where I graduated with a 3.94 GPA. My previous work experience includes a role as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant, focusing on SQL Server to Azure SQL migration, ETL reconciliation, and data validation. I also have experience working on AI annotation projects and an internship involving Python, AWS S3, Snowflake, and SQL. Now, I'm feeling a bit lost as I navigate the Indian job market. I have a solid technical foundation but am unsure which career path to pursue. I'm considering roles like SQL Analyst, Data Quality Analyst, Application Support Analyst, and Technical Client Success roles, but I’m particularly drawn to positions that combine technology with customer interaction. Financially, I'm looking for a salary around ₹50,000 per month to support myself while I build experience and skills. I'm eager to work and improve technically over the next few years, with hopes of exploring international opportunities in the future. I’m reaching out for advice on which roles might be the best fit for my background and how to prepare for interviews in the next couple of months. Any insights from those in the Indian IT industry would be greatly appreciated!
