Applied at McDonald's for Unknown

I had an interview with McDonald's on a Sunday and was told I would hear back by Tuesday or Wednesday. When I didn't receive any updates, I called them on Friday. They informed me that the interviewer was off and suggested I call back on Sunday. I did, and they promised I would hear from them by Monday at the latest. Now, it's Thursday, and I'm still waiting for a response, which is frustrating. I'm considering my next steps and whether I should keep following up or move on to other job applications.
