I received an email on July 29 from my new job, stating that my starting date was the same day, but it didn't include a specific time. I was really confused because I thought it was just an official hire date, not my actual start date. I assumed I was supposed to show up at some point that day, but I didn't get any further details or a schedule. I reached out to the bookkeeper for clarification, but they haven't responded in three days. This is my first job, and I'm feeling embarrassed and anxious about possibly missing my first day. I even told my family I got the job, and now I'm worried I messed it up. I'm not sure if I should keep trying to contact them or what to do next.
