I'm currently in a contract-to-hire position at a tech company as a software engineer. My manager recently mentioned that he wants to convert me to a full-time role about a month before my contract ends. He even provided me with a link to the application for the full-time position. However, I'm feeling a bit anxious because I haven't received an official offer letter yet. From what I've gathered, it seems like the process might involve applying first before getting an offer letter, but I'm unsure if this is the norm. I'm hoping to get some clarity on this process.
