Coffee-and-Tequila's journey

I’ve been unemployed for almost two years now, and it’s been a tough journey. I previously worked in logistics for a few years, but everything changed after I got pregnant. When I notified my boss about my pregnancy, they assured me that I would have a job to return to after my maternity leave, even hiring a temp to cover my absence. However, on the very day I returned, HR called me in and fired me. That was a devastating blow. Shortly after, my husband was diagnosed with ALS, which has progressed rapidly. His condition has left him unable to work or even move, and I can’t leave him alone for even a moment. We have a child to care for, and I’ve nearly exhausted our life savings trying to keep us afloat. I’ve been applying for remote jobs, and while I’ve made it to the final interviews multiple times, I keep getting passed over for other candidates. I’m at a loss for what to do next. I really need some advice on how to generate income for our basic needs like food, rent, and medicines. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
