I interviewed for a position last Wednesday and felt really positive about it. At the end of the interview, they told me I was a good fit and asked me to send over my preferred start date so they could prepare an offer letter by Friday. They even discussed the training process and how to negotiate salary with HR, which made me feel confident about moving forward. However, Friday came and went without any offer letter. I decided to send a follow-up email thanking them for the interview and letting them know I was available if they needed anything else. By Monday, still no offer. Thankfully, I hadn’t put in my two weeks at my current job yet. I sent another follow-up on Wednesday, but I still haven’t received a response. Now it’s Thursday, and it’s been over a week since the interview. I’m starting to wonder if I should consider this a ghosting situation or if I should reach out one more time. I’ve heard mixed opinions on how common this is during the interview process, and I’m feeling a bit uncertain about what to do next.
