I have an interview scheduled for a part-time job, and I'm starting to feel uneasy about the situation. I'm a university student, and the job ad specifically asked for college students, which struck me as odd since it didn't relate to anything academic. I thought they might be trying to help students find work, so I applied. When I got the call for the interview, they informed me it would take place on a floor of a building at an address I didn't recognize. After looking it up, I found out the building is located on a narrow street in a neighborhood that has a reputation for being sketchy. I did find the company's official website, which lists the address they provided, but I still feel uncomfortable about going to an interview in such a private location rather than a public space. I'm wondering if I'm overreacting or if this is a common practice for interviews. I’ve seen some comments suggesting this might be related to multi-level marketing, which makes me even more doubtful. I’ve never had an interview outside of a proper office setting before, so I’m really torn about whether I should go or trust my instincts.
