I recently applied for a position on Indeed, hoping to find a job with more hours than my current role. To my surprise, I received an email from a company I had never heard of, inquiring about one of my applications. After checking, I realized that this company was different from the one that posted the job listing. I did some quick research and found only their website and a single negative review on Reddit about working there. This made me hesitant, so I chose not to respond. They kept emailing me for three days, insisting it was my 'last opportunity' to schedule an interview. Now, I'm wondering if this is a common practice or if I should be more cautious in the future when similar situations arise.
