I recently started working at my mother's doctor's surgery on a zero-hour contract, but the work I was hired for is mostly finished. I had struggled for two years during my teenage years to find a job in retail or as a barista without success. Now that I have some actual job experience, I'm eager to secure a more permanent position at a store in the city. I'm open to any advice on how to improve my chances!
