I have a teaching degree that I earned about 17 years ago, but despite my efforts, I've never been able to secure a full-time teaching position. Instead, I've only worked as a substitute teacher and a part-time tutor. It's been really disheartening, especially since there's this common belief that anyone with a relevant degree should easily find a job in education. I often feel judged by others for not being able to land a full-time role, which adds to the frustration of my job search.
