CrazyConfusedScholar's journey

I am currently applying to jobs in Washington, DC. I've noticed that while the job market seems competitive, especially with many people vying for agency-adjacent roles, there are still opportunities available. I've been focusing on government contractors, associations, nonprofits, and private companies that work with the government, as these sectors appear to have less competition. I've also been trying to apply quickly after job postings go live and reaching out directly to team members to increase my chances. It's a crowded market, but I'm determined to find the right fit.
