I interviewed for a retail Assistant Store Manager position on July 13th. A few days later, I received an email stating that they were still working through the process and would get back to me. I followed up once, but I haven't heard anything since. The area manager had mentioned there would be another interview if I passed this round, which makes the silence even more confusing. I'm left wondering if I'm being kept as a backup candidate or if I've already been quietly rejected. I'm continuing to apply for other positions, but it's frustrating not knowing where I stand. Has anyone else experienced a similar delay and ended up receiving good news?
