I am currently searching for a full-time job while preparing to start nursing school in January 2027. I've been upfront with potential employers about my schedule changing to part-time in January, but I'm starting to wonder if I should continue being honest. So far, companies have shown interest in my healthcare experience, but I fear that revealing my plans might deter them from hiring me. I have a good track record of leaving jobs on good terms, and I don't want to upset anyone by transitioning from full-time to part-time after just six months. Should I keep being transparent about my future plans, or would it be better to keep things vague to secure a position? I'm also not officially accepted into the nursing program yet, but it's highly likely I'll get in.
