I’m excited to share that I finally got a job at a hospital in the Midwest! I had applied there last year but faced constant rejections, even receiving an initial offer for just $16 an hour, which felt too low given my 14 years of medical experience. I decided to apply again and took the initiative to email one of the talent managers directly. This time, I not only got in but also received an offer that reflects my worth, and I won’t have to work in the ER. It took a lot of perseverance—about 20 applications in total, with three responses, but the fourth was the one that worked out. Don’t give up on your job search!
