I was laid off 1.5 months ago and have been struggling to find a new job ever since. Recently, a few roles opened up on my former team, but I was told I wasn’t a strong fit for the same position I held before. This has really taken a toll on my confidence; I find myself blanking during interviews despite having proven capabilities and outcomes in my previous work. I used to be able to speak confidently about my experience, but now I just freeze up. I'm looking for advice on how to cope with this situation and any support from others who might be going through something similar.
