I recently started my job search as a product designer with 4 years of experience, having successfully designed and launched two apps on both the Play Store and App Store. So far, I've applied to 41 jobs but have faced 18 rejections. I'm feeling a bit lost and could really use some guidance on what I might be doing wrong in my applications. I've heard mixed feedback, with some saying that 23 rejections isn't too bad given the current market conditions for design roles. I’m considering improving my portfolio to showcase the entire design process rather than just the final products. I’ve also thought about reaching out directly to hiring managers instead of relying solely on applications. Any advice on how to enhance my resume or portfolio would be greatly appreciated!
