I graduated from my Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) school in May and have been actively job searching ever since. It's been really tough because the aviation industry is incredibly selective, especially when it comes to new graduates like me who have little experience. I even applied to a company that was supposedly hiring aggressively, but they turned me down despite my school being a direct pipeline for their hiring. This constant rejection is really discouraging, and I'm starting to feel frustrated with the whole process. I've been advised to tailor my resume to highlight hands-on projects and lab work from my A&P program, but it's still a challenge to get my foot in the door.
