I recently learned about layoffs at UPS in the IT department that occurred on July 26. It seems that the entire QA department was affected, along with about a dozen employees in the EDA team. I also found out that there were layoffs in June within Ken’s team, but most of those individuals managed to transfer to vendor positions. It's disheartening to see how much of the IT work at UPS is outsourced, as I've heard that they don't even have a dedicated tech team.
