After a long and challenging year of searching for work, I finally landed a short contract job! The job market has been incredibly tough, and finding a full-time position feels nearly impossible right now. This new role is only for 2-3 months, working on a specific project, but I'm grateful to have it. I have about a year of combined experience, and I spent two years unemployed after graduating. I was fortunate to secure this position because of my specific experience with the software required for the job. While I'm not overly excited about the short duration, I hope to gain new references and skills during this time.
