I recently got hired at a small coffee chain and had my orientation on Tuesday at a different location due to scheduling conflicts. Unfortunately, I didn't get the information about when I would start because of this. They mentioned they were waiting for approval from HQ to fund my training, which I thought was reasonable. However, it’s now been several days since orientation, and I haven't received any communication from them. I'm starting to wonder if this is a red flag or if it's too early to ask about my start date. I'm considering reaching out on Monday for an update.
