I’m starting a new job as a preschool teacher at a different center this Tuesday, and I’m feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. After working at my previous center for eight years, the thought of starting over at the bottom is daunting. What really worries me is the fear of going back to being unemployed; job searching is incredibly tough, especially since there aren’t many opportunities in my field around here.
