I just found out that I’m losing my job in a couple of weeks due to low business volume. To make the most of my situation, I’m planning to attend a job fair in my town and I’m looking for tips on how to stand out and secure a job. I’m considering bringing printed copies of my resume, but I’d love to hear any advice on how to make a lasting impression. I’ve read that it’s better to be overdressed than underdressed, and that having a solid introduction can help. I’ll also bring a notebook to take notes on the contacts I meet and the roles they’re hiring for. Any additional pointers would be greatly appreciated!
