I had an interview scheduled today at 1:00 PM with a company that produces beverages and pet food. I had confirmed the time with the recruiter just two days prior, so I was feeling optimistic. I logged into WhatsApp at noon to prepare, as I had done for previous interviews. However, when 1:00 PM came and went without a call, I started to get anxious. By 1:10 PM, I decided to reach out to the recruiter to check if the interview was still on. To my shock, I received a response saying, "Good afternoon, it's not available anymore, we apologize, have a good day." I was left feeling completely blindsided and disheartened. I had been really looking forward to this opportunity, and now I feel like I've been treated like I don't matter. I'm devastated because this role seemed like a perfect fit for my skills and experience. I'm still processing this disappointment and can't help but feel sad about how it all unfolded.

I am currently exploring job opportunities at a company that only has a presence in the US, and unfortunately, they don’t have a dedicated page for my country. This has made it challenging for me to find suitable positions since I can't apply directly from the US. I've been considering reaching out to an HR manager on LinkedIn to see if they could recommend me or possibly offer me an opportunity. I’m a bit hesitant and wondering if it’s a good idea or if I’m just being overly ambitious. I’ve seen advice suggesting that it’s not crazy to make such a move, as the worst that could happen is not getting a response. I’m hoping to get some insights on whether this approach is worth pursuing.
