They mentioned that I could return as long as I apply for a position in a different department, which I am considering. However, I'm conflicted. While the HR head is advocating for me, I worry about the potential stigma of returning after being let go, especially if my old manager is still around. I’ve been struggling to find a job for the past two months, and this opportunity feels like a lifeline, but I’m concerned about the implications of bending the rules for my return.
