I recently relocated to New York for a new job, and just a month in, I was laid off. Now, I'm facing a tough situation as I have to pay rent without any income. I found a nice place in Queens with a rent under $800, which I thought was a great deal for the area. However, I'm now stuck with 11 months left on my lease and struggling to find someone to take it over since the house is older and not many people are interested.
