I had an interview for a position I was really excited about last Thursday. The hiring manager seemed positive and mentioned I would hear back by the end of the day on Friday. However, Friday came and went without any communication, and now it's Saturday with still no word. I'm feeling a bit anxious about it because I really loved the company and the role. I know that sometimes timelines can slip and that there might be other factors at play, but it’s hard not to feel like I’m losing control over the situation. I plan to follow up on Tuesday to express my continued interest, but I can't help but feel a bit discouraged.
