I reached a point in my job search where I feel so desperate that I'm actually considering paying for a job placement service. I know it's not a common route and I've seen advice against it, but the stress of being unemployed is weighing heavily on me. I just want to find a position where I can contribute my skills and experience. I posted about this in a job-related community, and the overwhelming response was to steer clear of paying for a job. I appreciate the concern, but I'm really struggling to see other options right now.
