  1. 1

I’ve been working at Walmart as a team lead for 2.5 years. Initially, I loved the job and was excited about the promotion, but over the past year, the workload has become overwhelming. They keep piling on expectations without providing any support, which has made it increasingly difficult to manage my responsibilities. I feel like I’m being taken advantage of daily, and it’s really affecting my mental health. After much consideration, I’ve decided to put in my two weeks' notice. I’ve already secured a new job, although the pay is lower. The upside is that it’s much closer to my home, which will save me on gas expenses. Despite knowing this is the right decision for my well-being, I can’t shake off the guilt of leaving. I truly enjoy my role and have formed great relationships with my coworkers, and I wish things could have been different with management. I keep questioning whether I should stick it out for the higher pay or prioritize my mental health and move on. It’s a tough choice, but I know I need to take care of myself.
