Applied at Wilkinson Gary Iron and Metal, Inc. for social media manager

I recently had a phone interview for a remote social media manager position with a company called Wilkinson Gary Iron and Metal, Inc. The experience left me feeling uneasy. The interviewer had a noticeable accent and emphasized that the job required no training, claiming she would support me throughout the process. However, she was vague and didn’t really answer my questions. I couldn’t find any information about her on LinkedIn, and the company itself lacks a website, though they do appear on Yelp. The hiring process was alarmingly fast; I filled out a form on Monster and was interviewed shortly after. They mentioned offering free online training and said they would pay me by paper check before transitioning to direct deposit. I haven't received a contract yet, and they want me to start tomorrow. I'm feeling suspicious, as it seems too good to be true. I really need a job, but my gut is telling me something isn't right. I'm worried this might be a scam, especially with the quick turnaround and the paper check payment method.
