This week, I encountered a frustrating issue while trying to certify my unemployment claim in New Jersey. After receiving backpay for three weeks, I got an error message stating 'Unable to certify - reopen your application.' I currently work part-time in EdTech, but I was a full-time in-school teacher last year. I'm wondering if anyone else has faced this problem with an active NJ claim and if they were able to resolve it by speaking with an agent over the phone, without having to go through the adjudication process again. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!
