I'm currently searching for a job in a new city where I plan to relocate. I've been facing challenges with the application process, particularly when it comes to my current address. I've received several automatic rejections due to this, even though I've managed to secure a few interviews. However, each time I get feedback, the employers mention they want to fill the position quickly, which is frustrating since I've communicated that I can start three weeks after receiving an offer. One company even scheduled an in-person interview but only provided one date, which makes it hard to justify the travel costs for a job that isn't guaranteed. I'm wondering if anyone has tips for successfully landing a job out of state. My cover letter states that I'm relocating to the city to be closer to family, but I'm considering whether I should change that approach or even imply that I already live there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
