I had an interview this morning for a position I was really excited about. However, as we were wrapping up, the interviewer informed me that they had already filled the position and that I wouldn’t be hearing back from them. I’m left feeling frustrated and confused about why they would conduct an interview if they had no intention of hiring me. It feels like a complete waste of my time, and I can’t help but wonder if they were just trying to compare me to the chosen candidate.
