  1. 1

I recently found myself in a tough situation at my job in New Jersey, where I've been working for a small company for the past five years. Earlier this year, I reported a sexual harassment incident that occurred both on and off the property. Although the employee was ultimately terminated, I've been dealing with ongoing hostility and rumors ever since, which has made the work environment unbearable. To make matters more complicated, I just found out that I'm pregnant. I informed my employers and requested some accommodations to help me through this period. However, instead of support, I was told that if I needed those accommodations, I should consider resigning. This has left me feeling trapped and stressed. I've been actively searching for a new job for months, but the market is tough, and I'm struggling to find anything. I'm even open to doing side gigs like babysitting or dog sitting, but those won't cover my bills. Now, I'm wondering about my chances of getting unemployment benefits if I decide to quit due to this hostile work environment. I have documentation, time/date stamps, and witnesses for most of the interactions I've had. I’m seeking advice on what kind of documentation I would need to provide to strengthen my case.
