I'm currently job hunting and came across a position at a furniture store that offers 100% commission pay. I had an interview, but I'm really unsure if this type of role is worth it. My main concern is the uncertainty of income; I don't want to end up working hard and not getting paid at all. I've heard mixed opinions about commission-based jobs, especially in furniture sales, where success can depend heavily on the company's marketing efforts rather than my own work ethic. I just want to secure a job quickly, but the idea of potentially earning very little or nothing at all is really daunting. Has anyone here worked in a similar role? What was your experience like?
