I’ve been on the job hunt lately and noticed something strange: there are no McDonald's hiring within 100 miles of me. It feels like a sign of the times when I remember a time when anyone could easily get a job there. Now, it seems like getting hired at a fast-food chain is a rare occurrence. I'm just looking for any job at this point, but it's disheartening to see such a staple of entry-level employment not hiring.
